Good Afternoon Goderich Ringette Families & Welcome to the 2026/27 Season!
This email contains important information so please read through it and let me know if you have any questions.
I am the Fundraising Coordinator again this year and I'm excited to have a co-chair this year! Michele Maly will be helping with all things fundraising. Feel free to reach out to us via email or flag us down at the arena if you happen to see us.
IMPORTANT:
* Each family is required to profit $250 or more by March 1, 2027. This fundraising requirement is per family, not per player. Participation in the year end tournament is conditional upon this requirement being fulfilled.
* We keep detailed records of each family's profits. You will be updated on your profits after each fundraiser but you can always reach out if you'd like to know what your remaining balance is.
* You are not required to participate in every fundraiser so choose the ones you like best.
* The $250 fundraising requirement is different from the volunteer bond. Both are required. If you need clarification, please reach out.
* If you don't wish to fundraise, you are more than welcome to simply pay the $250 by etransfer to this email address by March 1, 2027. Please let us know if this is your intention.
Fundraising Plan
We have a more structured fundraising schedule this season so that you know exactly which fundraisers are happening and when.
A new fundraiser will be introduced on the 10th of each month from September to January. Families will have approximately 3 weeks to place their orders. Products will be available for pick up approximately 2 weeks after the order due date. We will do our best to have pick up days on a Thursday to coincide with practice days for convenience. All of these details will be in the introduction email for each fundraiser. Here's the general plan for the season:
September: Rheo Thompson Smoothies & Halenda's Pepperettes
October: Metzger's Meat
November: Raffle Calendars
December: Elmira's Chicken
January: Metzger's Meat
Fundraising is essential to keep things as affordable as possible for everyone so thank you in advance for your participation this year!
